I wait for the frame rather than arrange it.
Imageotory is a one-person practice working across portraiture, editorial, and landscape. Most of what I make comes down to the same habit: showing up early, staying late, and not pressing the shutter until the light has decided what it wants to do.
That patience shows up differently in each room. In a portrait session it means the first twenty minutes are conversation, not photographs. On a ridge at 5am it means a tripod and a thermos. On a long exposure it means one frame every four minutes and a lot of standing still.
I work on location and in the studio, travel for commissions, and print everything I care about. If the way you'd describe your project is "quiet but not boring," we'll probably get along.
